Yep, it’s Writer’s Fest time again, and I’m reading in two events on Friday, October 19. First I’m moderating a panel on Humour with a Bite. The writers are:
Chan Koonchung with his novel, The Fat Years, featured here, on The Current ; Shari Lapeña with a book called Happiness Economics about a fractious marriage between a celebrity economist and her stay-at-home poet husband; Emily Schultz with her tale of killer Blondes; and Linda Svendsen, my thesis advisor at UBC in the early 90s, with her sassy, whip-smart Ottawa satire, Sussex Drive.
